Dimitris Papakyriakopoulos

Dimitris Papakyriakopoulos is a senior university student, studying Quantitative Finance and Business Intelligence at the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) and holds two minor certificates in Marketing and Finance from The American College of Greece. Moreover, he has earned a Professional Certificate in Applied Corporate Finance by the University of Cambridge.

Starting his entrepreneurial career at 16 years old, Dimitris has co-founded, been part of and advised numerous youth-led startups entering pre-Seed and Seed stage. In 2022, he represented Greece and AUEB at Start4Future, an EU acceleration and incubation program with focus in sustainable investing for European leaders.

Currently, he is managing a Student Resource Endowment Fund, which was created to provide real-world experience to outstanding finance students by The American College of Greece. Furthermore, he is the creator of Apollo-OS, an open-source software that performs complex financial market analysis and quantitative portfolio optimisation methods for retail and institutional investors.

Dimitris, a current CFA candidate, is highly motivated and interested about international affairs and sustainability. He has been a member and advisor for numerous non-profit and non-partisan organisations, with the most distinctive one being the Cancer Prevention Research Group in Greece. Dimitris has also been an awarded and honoured scholar of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation.
