Alexandros P. Mallias, former Ambassador of Greece to the United States of America, is a recipient of the Martin Luther King International Legacy Award ( Washington D.C.,Jan.2007).

He has a degree in Economics from the University of Athens; Certificate (courses) with the Hellenic Mathematical Society. Post -graduate studies at the Geneva University and the Institute for High European Studies.

As career diplomat, he served with 11 different Governments and 15 Ministers of Foreign Affairs. He is a frequent media analyst and commentator on national security, regional and global issues.
