Miloš Cvetanović

Miloš Cvetanović as a State Secretary at the Ministry of Trade, Tourism, and Telecommunications manages Sector for Electronic Communications and Postal Traffic, as well as Sector for Information Society and Information Security. Miloš received the B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Belgrade, Serbia. He is currently an Associate professor in the Department of Computer Engineering and Information Theory at the School of Electrical Engineering, University of Belgrade. As CEO of the National Research and Educational Network of Republic of Serbia (AMRES) led a great expansion of the network footprint from 300 to more than 2000 institutions and over 1.3 million end users, with a tenfold increase in speed and overall reliability of the backbone. He has managed and participated in all stages of planning, implementation and quality control for numerous complex nationwide infrastructure projects involving multiple stakeholders. Miloš has strong Integrated Product and Process Development experiences based on CMMI methodologies related to Integrated Project Management (IPM), with more than ten years of establishing estimates and defining project life-cycle phases upon which to scope the planning effort. He has more than sixteen years of software system design and implementation experience based on Object Oriented Design and design patterns. His research interests include information systems, machine learning, simulations, computer architecture, reverse engineering, and natural language processing. Moreover, he has remarkable results in applying AI for software clone detection, anomaly detection, learning platforms, and short-text semantic analysis. He has 17 journal paper (10 in international journals with impact factor), more than 30 conference papers, 6 technical solutions, and 1 patent.
